It was a hot day in August. Loaded up baby Scout, some art and headed out to downtown St. Petersburg. Today is Free Art Friday. A day deemed by Ms. Free Art, Coralette Damme, to leave art that others may find. My best guess is that we've been doing this for the last five years. The idea of leaving free art started somewhere else... but we keep it going.
I like to mix things up... sometimes I leave original works, sometimes printed posters, hand dyed and silk screened t-shirts, and today... a limited edition of art in baby food jars. Inspired by my beautiful infant son and left with all the empty cute jars I decided to do some canning--artist style.
